I started at the top and worked my way through the editing options and was surprised at the goodies they had on offer! At the centre of the screen is the preview area, with editing options either side of that, timeline at the bottom and standard options/file etc at the top. The program has a modern feel to it, with a grey & green colour scheme, with easy to read test and the overall layout is very simple and easy to navigate. I created a new project, imported some video footage and started to explore. – Transitions, animations, visual & audio effects, interactivity within a video, voice narration & green screen compatibleĪfter installation, I was greeted by a short introduction video, showcasing the vast extent of tutorials & support offered with the software, which is great to see, and you will use it. – Annotations such as arrows, callouts & shapes – Multiple track timeline, allowing multiple layers of video, audio, text – Import your own images, videos (upto 4k) & audio files

Camtasia is a screen recorder and video editor, with drag & drop functions, to easily make professional looking videos, or so they say. TechSmith, a company that produces screen capture, screen casting & video editing software, have released Camtasia 2018.
