It was nonstop controversy, everything from the leak of the Dobbs opinion on Roe v. It was all happening very much in public view. This year, the scorpions were crawling all over the table. Either way, it doesn't seem like Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be the movie where fans find out just what he's capable of.It was once the case that somebody in an earlier era likened the Supreme Court justices to nine scorpions in a bottle. Given Mando's critically acclaimed performances in Better Call Saul and as the main antagonist in video game Far Cry 3, the role would definitely be in safe hands with the actor. Hopefully he is, though, and hopefully the MCU gives Scorpion his time to shine eventually. It's unclear if Mando was one of the victims of the snap, but even if he wasn't, there's no telling what kind of condition he's in after five years or if the character is still alive in the MCU. There's also the five year time jump that occurred in Avengers: Endgame to consider. Even if Mando has managed to escape from (or be released from) prison, it's unlikely he's going to be traveling all the way to Europe to take on Spider-Man.

While this quote obviously doesn't elaborate on why Mando isn't appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home, there are a few good reasons for his absence. Carroll said, "Yeah, we did tease the Scorpion. From the sound of things, however, it seems like fans may have to wait just a little while longer to see the villain make his first big screen live-action debut. While Mando never ended up donning the Scorpion suit in Spidey's initial outing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many fans expressed hope that he might do so in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Mando didn't play a huge role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Gargan is a big enemy of Spider-Man in the comics, where he portrays perhaps the most well-known version of Scorpion.
